Prayer to Our Lady of the Gate

Our prayers are an invocation of history, invoking all those who have reached your Church, Our Lady of the Gate, and prayed barefoot, with tearful eyes. They knelt before the door, their faith unwavering, believing that you will not close it on anyone. They called out to you, and their voices carried their desires. And you were always the answer: “Return to your homes rejoicing, your request has been granted.” O Virgin, you are our mother, and our homes are your homes. Protect us and do not let the wicked and the destroyer tread upon our door. We honor you and glorify the name of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, forever. Amen.
