A Marian procession from Our Lady of the Gate to Saint John Mark, which is sprinkled with rosewater according to tradition.

The people of Byblos honor Our Lady of the Gate on the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary on August 15th of each year. From there, a Marian procession takes place to St. John-Mark Cathedral, followed by sprinkling the church with rosewater according to tradition.
